Nairobi is your gateway to this ten-day adventure that serves up all of Africa's wildness for a decidedly mild price. Here, you'll head out across the acacia-spotted savannah of the Serengeti and the plains of the majestic Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. Our overland adventure vehicle (OAV) will ferry you through the incredible scenery of Kenya and Tanzania safely and in good spirits — and camping will keep you close to the action. With this much stunning African wilderness so close at hand, expect your shutter finger to get a hefty workout.

Day 1 Nairobi
Arrive at any time.

Day 2 Nairobi/Lake Nakuru National Park
Enjoy views of the Rift Valley from lookout points and a wildlife safari drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Stop at Lake Naivasha en route for an included boat ride to search for hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife.

Day 3 Lake Nakuru National Park/Masai Mara
From Lake Nakuru head down to the camp just outside the gates of the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Day 4 Masai Mara
Enjoy a full-day wildlife safari drive in private safari vehicles in the Masai Mara.

Day 5 Masai Mara/Kisii
Ascend from the plains to the green hills of Kenya's premier tea-growing and soapstone region of Kisii.

Day 6 Kisii/Musoma
Cross into Tanzania and camp on the shores of Lake Victoria.

Day 7 Musoma/Serengeti National Park
Travel to Serengeti National Park and enjoy a wildlife safari drive from the overland vehicle.

Day 8 Serengeti National Park/Ngorongoro Crater
Morning wildlife safari drive in the Serengeti, then journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Day 9 Ngorongoro Crater/Arusha
Enjoy a morning wildlife safari drive in Ngorongoro Crater in small 4x4 safari vehicles before heading to Arusha.

Day 10 Arusha/Nairobi
Travel through the land of the Masai people to Nairobi, where the tour ends upon arrival in the late afternoon.
